Young county did itself credit
last Saturday when her sover-
eign voters rendered their ver-
dict in favor of levying a tax of
fifteen pent* on the hundred dol-
lars for making good roads.
It is s noteworthy fact that a.
great majority of the largest tax
payers in the county were heart
ily in favor of the proposition
and did all all they could in iff
favor.
This special tax will provide
sufficient revenue .to put every

Yes, everyone in this part of
the state knows that Graham is
growing at s rapid rate.* Very
few towns can boast of a more
substantial growth than our fair

in a short time to give our read-
ers a detailed account of - the
progress our city has made in

ful little cities to be found any-
