Easter evening service at

Good Friday comes to point
you to the cross and to tell you
“Christ died for you.” The mes
sage of Good Friday is best
told by the prophet Isaiah, who
visions Christ on the cross and
says, “Surely He hath borne
our griefs and carried our sor-
rows: yet we did esteem Him
stricken, smitten of God and
afflicted. But He was wounded
for our transgressions, He was
bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was
upon Him, and with His stripes
we are healed. All we like sheep
have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own
way; and the Lord hath laid on
Him the iniquity of us all.”
Easter follows Good Friday.
Easter joy is a life experience
that goes far deeper than the
satisfaction of new clothes,
flowers bright skies and the
feeilng of spring in the air. It
is the joy of knowing that we
have a living Savior, who con-
quered death, the grave and
the forces of satan in order that
we might live forever. He is the
hope of our resurrection and
our eternal life. We greet you
with A HAPPY EASTER be-
cause Christ is our Easter joy.
