¥OUTH FOR CHRIST
The largest Saturday night
crowd of all greeted Dr. W. R
White of Austin in the regular
Saturday night Youth for Ciirist
rally last week. The message
was acclaimed as one of the
best and we consider the comj
ing of Dr. White as one of the
highlights is the religious ac-
tivities of Boerne. People came
from many of the surrounding
towns and cities to hear him.
The special numbers render-
ed consisted of the Temple
Girls Quartet from San Antonio
solo by Mr. Shelly Collier of
Austin, and other special num-
bers conducted by Mr. Collier.
We hope to have Mr. Collier and
Dr. White with us again at a
later date.
This Saturday night the rally
will be in the Methodist Church,
the speaker to be Rev. Ear]
Martin of Johnson City who is
doing the preaching this week in
a revival meeting at the Metho-
dist Church. Rev. Martin is one
of the outstanding speakers oi
this district in the Methodist
Churches, and is being heard
each evening by enthusiastic
crowds, a recently discharged
Rev. Martin has the
interest of the youth at heart.
Let’s rally the youth of Boerne
in a great rally Saturday night.
The program will be under
the capable leadership of Mr.
Carl Head of San Antonio, the
regular Youth for Christ direc-
tor. Special music will also be
arranged by Mr. Head. Be on
hand for a glorious Youth Rally
Saturday night at 8:00 p. m. at
Boerne Methodist Church.
