“Life is uncertain...eat des-
sert first.” The Cleveland
Rotary Club was in for some
special treats at their Novem-
ber 7 meeting at Hot Biscuit.
Bill McAdams was awarded a
proclamation, naming Novem-
ber 7, 2001 as “Bill McAdams
Day” in honor of his birthday.
His wife Jean spoiled the Ro-
tary members with a decidedly
decadent cake.Members of the
Cleveland Royal Braves Band
were kind enough to play for
the attendees. “Shake, Rattle
& Roll,” “Walkin’ On Sun-
shine,” “China Grove,” and a
British march by the name of
“The Eagle Squadron” were
just a few of the selections per-
formed under the very capable
direction of Mr. Kelly, Band
Director. As the meeting ad-
journed, members were
warned not to expect delicious
cake and live music at every
meeting!
