NOTICE
Why not patronize your home
town movie. In order to con-
tinue our present ability t pur-
chase first class pictures, we
will have to raise our attend-
ance.
Have you stopped to think
what it would mean to our
young people to not have a local
picture show ? It also encourages
juvenile problebs to have no
place of entertainment for our
youngsters.
In order to keep our doors
open and be able to continue
with our Class A pictures we will
have to improve our business.
Why not make it a point to
bring your families to the show
at least once a week and help
us to keep it open,

April 18, 1955
To the Executive Board of
Boerne’s Sewage Disposal Plant:
I wish to extend my hearty
thanks for the complete cooper-
ation you have given regarding
the problem of odor from the
sewage disposal plant. The State
Engineer has assured me that
your plan to recirculate will
eliminate many of the obnoxious
odors from the sewage. I am
sure that many of our citizens
on the southeast side of town
will be very grateful for your
cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
H. C. Day, M. D.

MAGGIE McKENZIE, popular radio star of KGNC says, "Every
woman knows light Karo is best for cooking ... and on the fable...
it’s Karo for me, the best-tasting
waffle syrup of ’em all"
fsel
Yes, indeed... biscuits go like hot cakes when
you pour on plenty of delicious Karo waffle
syrup. There’s nothing like it for good eating.
Satisfyin’ flavor. So rich it stands right up on
top of biscuits (keeps ’em light and fluffy).
Keep Karo on your table morning, noon and
night... it tops anything!
Ask your grocer for Karo waffle syrup, in pints and quarts
