Mrs. Alvin Herbst of Wasp
Creek made a brief call on Mr.
and Mrs. A. F. Marquart on Sun-
day Eve.
Mrs. August Stulting, Mr. and
Mrs. Gus Lindner of Comfort
visited with Mr. and Mrs. Her-
man Langbein on Sunday.
Mrs. Herman Langbein very
royally entertained the Em-
broidery Club on Thursday. De-
licious refreshments were serv-
ed to fourteen members and
three guests.
Sunday guests of Mr. and
Mrs. G. A. Langbein were Mr.
and Mrs. Jesse Matter of Ingram
Messrs and Mesdames Harry and
Clarence Matter of Comfort.
The Doss baseball players can
celled the games with the In-
dians on Sunday on account of
the death of a team mates moth-
er. Next Sunday the Indians
play Nettles at Fredericksburg.

H. B. Walmsley, one time resi-
dent of Sisterdale, are Sorry to
hear she had the misfortune to
become seriously ill and was
taken by Plane to the home of
her son, Col. H. P. K. Walmsey,

Virginia for medical care. We
wish for this good lady a most
speedy recovery.

icksburg returned home on Sun-
day after spending a week with
Jimmy Scheele.

spent the weekend with their
parents the 0. J. Marquardt’s
and Arthur Zoeller’s.
Mrs. Louis Habenicht and
Miss Caroline Marquart visited

Saturday. The occasion was the
latter’s birthday anniversary.

Mrs. Louis Pfeiffer, Mrs. Mar-
vin Schwarz and sons of Boerne
visited in the Louis Habenicht
home on last Tuesday Eve.

After a weeks vacation and

car, Reinhold Habenicht return-
ed to his job at Glidden, a new
