Irving and vice president Mrs

report on the Christmas party
held Dec 10 at the home of

An educational program was
presented by Mrs Stevens and
Mrs Joyce Zipfel on
"Christmas Customs Around
the World."

cake lopped with whip cream,

white carnations interspersed

ceremony at the altar which
was decorated with red
poinsettias and three-tiered
candelabra entwined with
greenery
As the bride came down the
aisle, she presented her mother
with a long stemmed red rose
and one to the groom's mother
during the recessional after the
repeating of the marriage
vows
Following the ceremony, a
reception was held in the
fellowship hall at the church
Decorated in a Christmas
motif, the bride's table was
dominated by Ihe three-tiered
wedding cake decorated with
red roses and topped by the
traditional bride and groom
figurines The centerpiece was
a large Christmas candle
surrounded wtth poinsettias
Punch, nuts and mints were
served
The cake was served by Miss
Conna Bonner of Llano, a
cousin of the bride Punch was
served hy Miss Kristine
Burleigh
The groom's table featured a
circular tiered candle cen-
terpiece of red where German
chocolate cake and coffee were
served
Mrs Mel Carter, cousin of
the bride, was in charge of the
bride's book
Both bride and groom are
graduates of Aransas Pass
High School
After a short honeymoon
trip, the couple will reside in
San Diego. Calif., where the
groom is stationed with the
