The Seminole Drifter’s
Riding Club has the dates for
their regular playdays, which
run through October.
Playdays will be held the
second Saturday -of each
month. Dates are, July 8,
August 12, September 9 and
October 14.

old all stars are: Cloud Tidwell, Jeff Durham, Roger Cortez, Steven
Lee, Hector Condarco, Issac Villalva, Roy Powers, Oscar Castillo,
Dusty Hill, Ramon Mata, Eric Huffman, Dusty Daves, Chris
Browning, Juan Alvarado, and Will Compton. Manager is Johnny
’ Powers. Coaches are Daniel Rodriguez and Victor Rodriguez.

Each of-the six teams also
picked a 14-year-old
sportsmanship winner. Ramon
Mata of the Chiefs received a
plaque for the overall sportsman
and his name was registered with
national Babe Ruth headquarters
in Trenton, New Jersey. Others,
who all received certificates,
were, Moses Gallegos of the
Rockies; Will Compton of the
Expos; Chris Gorman of
Warriors; Chris Browning of the
Scminolcs; and Oscar Castillo of
the Braves.

Golf Tournament
The American Cancer
Society has announced that its
annual Invitational Golf
Tournament will take place
Monday, July 24 at Lakeridge
Country Club in Lubbock.
Proceeds from the
tournament, a four-person
team scramble with two
flights, will support the
American Cancer Society’s
local education activities and
services for cancer patients in
Lubbock.
The top three teams in each
flight, as well as the last place
team in each flight, will
receive merchandise prizes. In
addition, several door prizes
will be awarded for holes-in-
onc, closest to the pin, longest
drive and pulling.
