To Gallery
As part of the in-service

program for area public school
teachers, a number of art in-
structors Thursday, Aug 23,
visited the Gallery of Arts for
familiarization with various
art techniques and products
Mrs Joyce Hayes, one of the
co-owners of the gallery, gave
a demonstration on palette
knife techniques and the
teachers were able to view art
on display and look over art
supplies carried by the gallery
Mrs Hayes said that as a
continuing part of the
program, the art teachers later
in the year will bring groups of
art students to the gallery for
similar sessions
