It seems that the unfortunate scribe

trouble with the two great evils A
woman named lula Andrews whom he

swindled her out of several dollars which
Lazier denounces as false The woman
bears the reputation of being
a hard case and few people ucqualiiWnl

It may Lazier eldently did his best to
get rid of his burden forsuch she proved
herself to bo to him With the view of
leaving her he left the city Thursday
night for Gainesville the home of his
future bride but as soon as he arrived
there he was arrested on a telegram from
Marshal Ilea to the olllccix of Gaines-
ville charging him with swindling Mr
Harry Pendleton of this city
Olllcer Hushlugs was sent to Gaines-
ville and returned last night with Lazier
