JONNY “TEX” SAXON
The dynamo that drives the
back stage machinery for the
Jonny Saxon’s Hell Drivers is a
thrill driving, energy loaded in-
dividual who was born and
schooled in Boerne, Texas. He is
rated as one of the all time stars
in the thrill show world and is
famed as the originator of many
of the most daring Hell Driving
stunts used by modern thrill
shows.
Jonny graduated from high
school to racing motorcycles,
then built and raced Autos and
was one of the original midget
racing car drivers, at which he
was an outstanding success. It
was a natural step forward to
hook up with the late Lucky
Teeter and since that time he has
devoted his summer seasons to
thrill shows and winters to pre-
paring for the summer to follow.
His partner and show producer
Mr. Joe Rabito, who is well
known in the sports and promo-
tion world are the originators of
this the original Sport Car thrill
show as Joe put it “America is
so sports car conscious, let’s
cater to them within the only
sports car thrill show ever
built.”
Keep your eyes on this human
dynamo “Jonny” as he directs
all track operations, as well as
driving in many of the toughest
stunts, and also note that at all
times he drives with one hand on
the wheel, a carbon copy of the
Old Master “Lucky Teeter.”
