CARD OF THANKS
The Senior Citizens from the
Gold Age Nursing Home were
guests of the Golden Fawn Club
last Friday. A delicious dinner
was served and a Xmas tree
with a gift for each patient was
beautiful to see—also the fire
places with their Xmas logs
burning so brightly. Cars from
the Club helped transport the
patients to and from the Club,
along with the nurse and Mrs.
Alice Daly’s car. The patients en
joyed themselves and wish to
thank Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shelow
who were so kind to arrange for
this event.

FUR ANIMALS
PLENTIFUL
According to Ben Donop of
Donop’s warehouse in Llano, rec-
coon and ringtail are plentiful, to
date he has bought also 3000
each of the above mentioned ani
male. The fur is in excellent
condition due to plenty rain
which produced an abundance of
acorns and pecans.
The demand for raccoon is
better thair for ringtails.
Mrs. W. D. Wood had as
guests in her home last week
her son W. D. Wood of Hunts-
ville, Alabama and son Lemoine
Wood and family of San An-
