Baptist Church To
Have Revival
Good News Texas Revival serv-
ices are scheduled at First Baptist
Church, Birch and Caffery, in Pharr
Jor March 27 through April 3.
The services are the culmination
®f a month long effort to reach the
unchurched in this area.
The revival theme is “Good News
Pharr” with each service featuring
gospel preaching by David Kimber-
ly and gospel singing. David Kim-
berly is pastor of West Main Bap-
Itist Church of Alice, and a former
pastor in Waxahachie. He has a
Master of Divinity degree from
Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary.
The public is invited to attend the
services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sun-
day and at 7:30 p.m. Monday thru
Saturday. Living Proof will be ex-
plained and a nursery will be pro-
vided.

Opens on N. Cage
A new drive in to open in Pharr
is the Tex-Mart No. 1, located at
the corner of North Cage and West
Polk, with Texaco gasoline and oil
products.
The drive in has self-service gaso-
line and will soon have self service
diesel, the only one with this fea-
ture in this area.
Tex-Mart is located on the corner
and has ample area to accommo-
date trailers as well as large trucks
