Otto Beseler, 91, prominent
outdoor advertising executive
and civic leader here since 1923,
died here Friday.
Funeral services were held at
the Cason Monk Funeral Home
Saturday at 2:30 with burial in
Sunset Memorial Park.
Mr. Beseler was hospitalized
Jan. 22 after suffering a broken
hip in a fall at his home here.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Adele H. Beseler, whom he mar-
ried 68 years ago; one daughter,
Mrs. Paul S. Ranzau, Boerne,
Texas, and three sons, with
whom he has been associated in
the outdoor advertising business
since 1923. They are Bieto Bese-
ler, Nacogdoches, former mayor
of the city; Fred C. Beseler,,
Shreveport, La., and Hardy W.
Beseler, Temple.
Mr. Beseler was bom in Wel-
fare, Texas, in 1869. Early in his
business career he was a tele-
graph operator and railroad ex-
press agent.
In 1929 Mr. Beseler was sec-

doches County Chamber of Com-
merce.
