From the Schools
The schools enjoyed a holiday
November 11th, much appreciated by
everyone. A number of the faculty
members and students celebrated the
event by attending the Alice Fair,
while others, it seems went hunting,
or had a restful day at home.
The 7th grade program
The Seventh Grade Program
The 7th grade meets at a regular
class meeting on Monday afternoon
every two weeks. At their las. meeting
a short but very interesting program
was given by the members. Several
readings and songs wore given, and a
number of good jokes read by a puppy
member of the class. The main num-
ber on the program was the excellent
talk on "Armistice Hay” by Nita Bo-
teete.
The corn-tract for the repairing and
remodeling of the Wexican Ward
Mrs. Thomas in celebrating Mrs. B. SS.
Garner's birthday last Wednesday a-
a surprise.
P. T. A. MEETING
Several members of the P. T. A. met
with the faculty itt the school house
last ♦Tidiiv iilternoon. The purpose of
the meeting was to reorganize, the As-
sociation after its long vacation.
A number of things for improvement
about the schools was discussed, but
nothing definitely decided until a larg-
er attendance should be present.
It was decided to meet the second
Friday afternoon ol each month, du
to the fact that the third Friday is the
regular Community Club night.
The P. T. A. plana to do big things
this coming year for the school, and
your support is needed. You are urged
to become an attending member at
once, if you arc not already a mem-
ber, plan to join at the next meeting.
Community Meeting

day night, November Unit for the t’nin-
mnnity meeting. An interesting pro-
gram of home talent has been arrang-
ed to last a short time, the rest of the
evening to lx used as the Rotary (Tub
