Boerne Shooting Club To Celebrate
100th. Anniversary Sunday
In this weeks issue of the
Boerne Star is a six page edition
congratulating the members of
the Boerne Shooting Club on the
one hundredth anniversary of
its existence which will be cele-
brated Sunday, Aug. 23, at the
Boerne Shooting Club. Pictures,
old and new are in this edtion,
along with available history of
the club and some of its mem-
bers.
An interesting program of g;
events includes a morning prize
shoot and at 12 one of Boerne’s |
famous barbecues. At 2 P. M. f
an exhibition shoot will take
place with additional continued
entertainment throughout the
day, featuring the German
Band.
An interesting gun exhibit
will be in the dance hall.
Also on sale are beautiful
centennial plates, designed and
made by Mrs. Houghton.
