They tell us people in the City are spending money like
they were afraid they would have some left, amused
us to see a can of fruit which we got at a local store,
for 29c priced 31c in a Super market. Won’t people
EVER learn?
No need to even attempt to enumerate all the usual
and unusual gifts we have to offer, and all the while
business as usual in the drug and prescription depart-
ments. Of course you want to make someone happy
with a Kodak Instamatic — see our department with
all prices of this really fine camera.
THE BOERNE STAR
SAY .. . Roberts has a good thing going — in fact a
good many things, such as beautiful gifts, courteous
service while you make your selections, gift wrapping
fast and attractive, and charge accounts for those
eligible and that is nearly everyone.
So keep those checks and phone orders coming on,
have lots of mouths to feed and it is going to be a
long, hard winter.
