Skin Types Explained
In today's article. I will show
how to analyse your skin. This is
important since skin's condition
may change due to diet, medica-
tion. and environmental factors
such as harsh weather or dry air
in the home or office.
Keep in mind that father time'
(agingi can gr eatly change the
condition of your skin.
Before examining your skin,
remove ail make-up with a clean-
sor that liquifies in water Dlace a
warm, moist towel or large
waahrag over your face to open
pores and remove ail make-up
Repeat this a second time, then
saturate cotton with a (reamer
All action on the fact should be
done in an upward movement
Now, use a magnifying mirror
and good lighting Examine your
skin on the forehead, around the
eyes, cheeks, noec, chin and
neck. Pay particular attention to
the "T" -one. the area of the
forehead, down the nose to the
chin Often there will be excess
oil and some blackheads In this
areas
Take the middle finger of both
hands and stretch the skin slight
ly to reveal the texture. Inok to
recognize large pores and see If
they are clear or clogged Lines,
riskiness and other problems will
show clearly through 'he magni-
fying mirror.
The following is an explanation
of skin types and wtiat to look for
Normal Skin A normal skin is
neither dry nor excessively oily
In reality, skin may be con-
sidered normal if all its various
paychcchenucai balances have
existed fur 20-25 years or even
longer Let me explain
Normal skin rests on muscular
fibers which insure stability of
the entire structure The adipose
layer should be neither too thin or
too thick, an indication the
metabolism is balanced. Hydra-
tion is perfect and the structure
of the rptdermis and the connec-
tive tissue are in excellent condi-
tion
Thus, due to the quility of its
elastic fibers, the ikm dots not
wrinkle. The cellular renovation
and its perfect bio id circulation
stops the wrinkles «nd the epider-
mis remains lira pleasant to
touch and the completion la fresh
and rosy
Usually, the skin of a child is an
example of normal ikin, but It
has been observed that a child's
endocrine functions have not
reached their plentitude
Therefore It would be more
reasonable to considiT as normal
skin the physiological healthy
skin of an adult
Unfortunately, a woman who is
lucky enough to poarss this type
of skin, keeps this attrscijve skin
usually for a short tunc. Vfliy ’
The skin is not a simple outer
covering, but a complex organ
that register! all kinds of internal
and external disturbarxes Con-
sequently. the skin s balance is
upset each time our organism is
effected. Internal fnctors play an
important pari in 'he deteriora-
tion of normal skin, (hormones,
surgery, illness and stress I
External influences play
another major part of the reao
tion of your skin Lot mi list some
aggressions such as dust, toxic-
gases ui large cities, ilrying ac-
tion of the winds, congestive ac-
tion of cold winds, and abusive
exposure to sunlight
If you have noimai skin, you
are blessed with a treasure Do
not ignore a good preventive pro-
gram and a visit to a
cosmetologist thiat has special
training is recommenced
Make sure you cleanse proper
ly to remove any dead cells and
dirt and protect your precious
skin with a good moisturizer and
makeup
Make-up is first and foremost a
protective measure I encourage
girls to start early wearing make-
up. especially in Ihe country
where the skin is more exposed to
wind and tanned by the sun
