Voters of the 36th judicial district will elect a new district judge on May 6.
There are three candidates: John hi inn would make a good judge,
Dean Patton would he better and RONNIE Y EAGER
is the REST. Why accept second or third choice
when you can have the best.
Good ...
John Ftinn would make a good district judge He has served 19
y«ars as district attorney, and in this position has been involved
with a great number of criminal cases However, his only in-
volvement with civil cases was through a sideline practice of law
while serving as your district attorney. The work of the 36th
District Court is over 80 per cent civil
Better...
Dean Patton would make a better district judge Mr Patton is
an jctive attorney in Beeville, and among his circle of friends is
held in high regard His trial experience covers a wide field;
however, his experience when it comes down to actual trial of
court cases, falls far short of that of Ronnie Yeager.

Match the man to the |ob and you'll see that YEAGER is the
best qualified. A check of cases in the 36th District Court shows
that the number of civil cases increases each year Last year 82
per cent were civil.
Yeager s experience in trying civil cases is greater than Pat-
ton's, and far in excess of that of Flinn. Yeager is a successful
trial lawyer whose experience uniquely fits him to step into the
ludgeship of the 36th District Court. The vigor and forcefulness
that marks his private practice will be an asset in the district
courtroom.
Not only does Yeager bring 16 years of trial experience to
the )ob, but his background as a worker in his church, chamber
of commerce, schools and civic clubs marks him as a man of
character He makes his home in Aransas Pass with his wife,
Peggy, and three children. A married daughter and her husband
also live in Aransas Pass
He is a member of the state, county and American Bar.
