consultant of the Corpus Christi
consumer services department
of CP and L.
An interesting movie entitled
"New Perceptions in lighting"
was viewed and discussed with
members learning new and bet-
ter ideas in lighting concepts
A transfer ritual ceremony
was given in honor of Mrs,
Wandla Willeford, new Portland
resident.
Yellow silk rose corsages,
made by Flo Raab, and attach-
ed with two silver stars for two
year's perfect attendance
record, were presented to Mrs.
Billie Smith and Mrs. Mary
Magee
The chapter made tentative
plans to bake cookies, in honor'
of St. Patrick's Day, and
distribute them to Taft Nursing
Home residents in March, as
part of the chapter's service
project for the year.
It was decided to hold the an-
nual sweetheart banquet Satur-
day, Feb. 23, at Nolan's
Fireside Inn in Corpus Christi.
The chapter will honor Flo
Raab, chosen as the chapter's
Valentine Sweetheart
Refreshments of homemade
miniature pecan pies,
chocolate meringue pies, sand
tarts, nuts and spiced tea were
served by the hostess.
