Humphrey of near Oglesby.
Mr. and Mrs. John King rec-
ently visited with Mr. and Mrs.
Charlie Witt.
Miss Leola Humphrey was a
recent Sunday visitor in tlie Rich-
ard Cox home, also Miss Wilmer
McGaughy from Mart.
There has been quite a number
of visitors recently in the Mr.
and Mrs. Charlie Witt home.

Mrs. George Rhodes last Wed-
nesday afternoon and gave them
a miscellaneous shower,. Mrs.
Shirley is a bride of a few! weeks.
They were Mr. and Mrs. Fritz
Weishering and son, Walter, Mr.
and Mrs. A. F. Witt and family,
Johnnie Abel, Misses Nellie and
Ruby Cox. Harvey Cox, Mr. and
Mrs. Gus Wiethorn, Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Lange, Miss Adeline Witt
and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Kunep-
pel.
Mrs. Etheridge returned last
week from a several weeks visit
in Oglesby.
Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Kemp
children are all sick with the flu,
also the little daughter of Mr. and
Cody Byford.
John Cox of McGregor was in
our midst one day last wteek on
business.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Henry went
to Temple last Tuesday for an
x-ray treatment for Mrs. Henry’s
health and she is doing nicely
at this writing.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmore Speight
and son were Sunday guests in [ radio.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ramsey and
baby went to see her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Yates Sunday.
Caleb Cox left Monday morn-
ing for a few days visit to Dallas.
Mrs. Tom Arp was at. Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Draper’s one day last
week.
We had a nice little rain Mon-
day, which amounted to about
a half an inch.
The Schwettmann .boys visited
one night last week in the Charlie
Witt home to listen in OArer the
George Castleman and sister,
Miss Eunice, wfere at their sis-
ter’s, Mrs. Zack Williams one af-
ternoon last week.
We are glad to know that all
of the. patients of our community
