Capt W. L.' Ssye last fall pre-
dicted to the editor along with
other parties that before the open-
ing of sumner an attempt would
be made to make a separate peace
^between Russia and Germany. We
didn’t believe it and was sure Capt
Saye was wrong. The recent revo-

thing was under consideration and
it developed that the German of-

BEVO SALES RAPIDLY
INCREASE — MANY
DRINK IT WITH MEALS
S\‘i r
Manager C. W. Meadows of the
Meadows Grocery Co., which com-
pany is distributor in this section
for “Bevo,” states that the sales
for this beverage are increasing
all the time. “I never saw such a
Belief as it is," says Mr. Meadows
and to think the hot weather, the
season for this drink, has never yet
gotten here. ’’ The Meadows Groc-
ery Co. is rapidly building up a
big trade Oh Bevo and many peo-
ple of this section and throughout
this territory are buying it by the
case for home use. It is said to be
a fine tonic, and in taste is very
much the same as beer. There are
many people whff really like the
taste of beer, byt who do not have
it in their homes because it is an
alcoholic drink. There people are,
hoifever, taking to.Bevo, as Bevo
in said to have all the nourishing
qualities that, beer -has but still
contains no alcohol; You could (
drink Bevo forever and never get
the least bit intoxicated on it. It
is a fine drink, and many people
throughout this territory are drink
ing it regularly at meal times as a
tonic and health drink. It is said'
to bn a splendid liquid food. If
you can drop in at tlm Meadows
Grocery Co. home day ,Jand sec
the number of orders that come in
for Bevo, you’d realize that this
is going to be one of the biggest
sellers when hot wdather comes of
any soft drink that has ever been
put on the market. (adv)
