Christmas Greeting.
The Leader desires to extend
to its friends the greetings of the
season and wish them one and all
a Merry Christmas. This is the
season of the year in which men
should lay aside their cares and
worries, strifes and differences,
and celebrate the anniversary of
that event which meant more to
the world and humanity than all
the other happenings of the ages.
It is a time when every one should
enjoy himself to the fullest extent
by endeavoring to make someone
else to rejoice. This is the time
of all times to the children and
nothing should be . left undone
that would contribute in any way
to their perfect happiness. It is
the time for reunions when the
members of the family that have
been separated from each other
for so many years will again be
reunited to spend the'holiday sea-
son around the old fireside. The
children are back -from school to
enjoy themselves among friends.
It is the time when $tU old friend-
ships are renewed, old memories
of happy days g;onb by are re-
vived. ‘ i
In this blessed- season, no one
should forget that it is the cele-
bration of the birth of the Christ-
child, the only pure and holy
man that ever lived, and that
nothing should be done that is at
variance with the rules of con-
duct that he left for us to follow.
Those who have met with mis-
fortune, to whom the jear has
not been so kind, we should not
fonget and whatever we can say
or do in any way to make their
cares lighter and lives brighter
and happier, let us not fail to do
it.
The Leader has been with you
through ail the varying scenes
of the year, has chronicled your
joys and sorrows, has rejoiced
with you in your prosperity and
sympathized with you in your
affliction. And so in this crown-
ing day of all the year when the
world bows in reverewce to the
memory of the Christ we extend
to you the greetings of the sea-
son and wish you one and all
many pleasant returns of the
day.

deron says that this lemon was
from a plant grown in a five gal
