How many young ladies of Bastrop County would not like to
take one of the following trips, as a guest of the TIMES?
A ten days trip to the cool mountains of Colorado with every
expense paid, encluding Railroad Fare, Pullman and Dining Car
Fare and Hotel Bill, making Colorado Springs headquarters.
OR
A trip throug'h Mexico, stopping in the City of Mexico and re-
maining in the city ten days with every expense paid.
OR
One Hundred Dollars, $100.00, in g'old to the successfal can-
didate from each district.
2 PRINCIPAL PRIZES 2
There will be two principal prizes and two districts* Smithville will constitute district No* 1,
and the balance of Bastrop County will constitute district No* 2* In this way the candidates from
other towns will have equal show with the young ladies of Smithville as they will only compete
among themselves* Candidates may work wherever they choose, so a candidate from the smallest
community will have an equal chance with those of Smithville*
This is purely a subscription contest, given solely for the purpose of increasing the circulation of the TIMES. Above
prizes to be given to the young lady securing the greater number of subscribers to THE TIMES, AND UNDER NO CON-
DITION WILL THERE BE ANY VOTES SOLD. In case of tie the Prize will be equally divided.
Rules of Contest
Any Young Lady in Bastrop County over tHe age of 14 years is entitled to enter
contest, by sending Her name to tHe Contest Manager, and receiving Ballot Books.
This Contest is being conducted by the National Contest Co,, of New Orleans. La., expert circulation promoters. One
of their contest managers will personally conduct this contest, and will gladly give any further information desired.
