Voea lias a sehool huilding that
would la- a credit to a town of

But what we really want to call
attention to is this:
• • •
The League was oigani/.ed sum-
months ago. It has as its purpose
tin- soeial, moral and financial up-
lift of tin* cornniunty. Meetings are
held fortnightly, at whieh time- a
regular program consisting of vo-
ca! and instiuiiiental solos, read
ings, etc., is renden-d by the young
people, with the older ones, too,
tuking part on the program when
called upon Csually the meeting is
brought to a close by an extem-
poraneous addres* on some subject
of community interest by one of
the progressive eitizens of the
community.
In this manner the good people
>f Voea are doing a great seivice
for their community in that they
are creating a better spirit of co-
operation among their citizens. At
the same time they ate giving their
children training that will be of in-
calculable value to them in after
life.
Other communities might follow
their example with both pleasure
and profit.
