PRISONER AT GLEN ROHE
LOCKS JAILOR IN JAIL
VITAL STATISTICS
Edgar Wickline of Stephenville,
who was in Glen Rose Sunday, Apr.
16, reports that the whole town
and udjarent count* y became excit-
ed wlnm it became known that an
escaping prisoner had locked up
the jailor. When the jailor took
breakfast to the prisoner he en-
tered too far into the cell, and the
prisoner made a rush for liberty,
locking the cell door and taking
Hie key with him as he passed out
and made for iIn- cedar breaks. The
jailer squalled like a wampus cat,
attracted attention, and was liberate
*ed when a duplicate key was found.
This was in less than thirty min— !
. ulcs, and numerous citizens and a
squad of school boys wera deputize
r to bunt the fugitive. The homes
of relatives were watched that nigh
hut to* managed to slip into oiie.se- (
cure a hat and sonic provisions.
Some time before tills prisoner, it
is, said, had been given two years
m the penitentiary, and was then
released on the terms of the ini—
quitous suspended sentence law.
\ fine louse was stolen and sold
at Cleburne at half tus price. '1 wo
cows and a heifer were also stol-
en, and the cows were sold. It is
Mini that because of those thefts
tlii man was arrested, and was be
mg held pending an investigation.
The affair caused much morrime
and no little excitement at Gleu

Surgeons state men are sdghtly
more subject to appendicitis than
women. Stephenville people, should
know that a few doses of simple
buckthorn bark, glycerine, etc., as
mixed in Adler-i-ka, often, relieve
or prevent appendicitis. This mix-
ture removes such surprising foul
matter that ONE SPOONFUL re-
lieves almost ANY CABE constipa-
tion, sour stomach, or 8a3-
INSTAJiT, easy action of Adler-i-ka
is surprising.—RED CROSS DRUG
