WHY WOULD
A COMPANY THAT
DOESN’T EVEN SELL
HEAT PUMPS
OFFER ACASH BONUS
FOR BUYING ONE?
When you replace your home’s old, worn
out heating and cooling system with a new en-
ergy efficient heat pump* Texas Power & Light
will pay you a cash
bonus for buying it.
Based on the tonnage
capacity of the unit.
But the cash bonus
is just the first benefit
of installing a new elec-
tric heat pump. You
also save money on your
operating costs. You
help save energy all year
’round. And by using
less energy, you help level our peak load de
mand. (That’s the time when more
people are using more electricity.)
So you can see why even though
we don’t sell or install heat pumps,
we want to give you all the infor-
mation you need to save energy and
money when you do buy one.
*Heat pumps must have an EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) of 8.0 or higher.
