"Build-Up": Way to
Ease Women’s Pain
Many weak, run-down women are
in a vicious circle. Their under-
nourishment often leads to Avhat is
called functional dysmenorrhea and
its symptoms — headaches, nerv-
ousness, irritability, intermittent
cramp-like pains—from which many
women suffer. Surest way to break
the Adcious circle is by building
strength and energy, which so many
find may be done Avith the help of
CARDUI. It stimulates appetite,
aids digestion, and thus helps in
this “build-up” of physical resis-
tance. Women also report that, if
taken just before and during “the
time,” CARDUI helps to ease the
pain and discomfort of the period,

It Avas with joy that Ave heard
the announcement Sunday, when
the Methodist Conference, being
held in Fort Wortli, announced
the return of Rev. A. K. Marney
to the pastorate here, for per-
haps no pastor of this church has
ever been m'ore beloved, and he is
universally liked by the entire
citizenship.
The Rev. Marney came to Mc-
Gregor last year, and among the
things he said in his first message
as pastor, Avas that lie had come
to McGregor to serve in any
capacity, Avhatever and Avhenever
the people saiv fit to 'ask of him.
This he has indeed done well, and
by so doing has endeared himself,
not only to the Methodist folks,
but to all aaJio know him. So Mc-
Gregor Avelcomes the Marneys
‘ ‘ back homo ’ ’ and predict an even
better church year than the pre-
ceeding one.
