Delicious refresh-
ments of frozen
desserts, cookies
and iced punch were
served by the Lass-
ister ’children,
Chris, Stacy and
Tim Bo.
After the meeting
closed, the class
discussed little
known facts about
Jesus* family.
MEMORIAL FLAG NOW FLYING AT CITY CEMETERY
The Tribune has
been informed that
thpre is a new flag
flying at the City
Cemetery.
The Flag was donat-
ed! by Mrs. Lucille
Reese.
It was given to
her by the Veterans
Administration at
the time of Pappy
Reese's death in
memory of his long
military service to
his country.

PRESTON FERGUSON
Funeral services for Samuel Preston
Ferguson, 67, of Route I, Malakoff,
were held Thursday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m.
at the Paschal Funeral Home in
Kerens. The Rev. Royce Measures of-
ficiated. g v
Burial followed in Prairie Point
Cemetery.
Mr. Ferguson died Tuesday in
Lakeland Medical Center in Athens.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline
Ferguson of Malakoff; two daughters,
Sammye Huggins of Nacogdoches and
Barbara Quinn of Athens; seven gran-
dchildren and one great-grandchild;
one brother, James E. Ferguson of
Kerens; three nephews and one niece.
