on Luzon while fighting the Japs
with the 43rd Infantry Division,
said he was told by the coffee
shop and hotel manager that his
dog could not be allowed in the
restaurant. The veteran was serv-
ed later In a downtown cafeteria
while the dog was at'his feet.

EVANGELISTIC CRUSADE
IN BAPTIST CHURCHES
OF COUNTY PLANNED

Plans are being made for the
county-wide Evangelistic Crusade
in the Baptist churches of Co-
manche County, during the week
of February 9 to' 16. At the an-
nual sessions in De Leon the Co-
manche Association voted to join
the 114 Association of Texas Bap-
tists In simultaneous -revivri ef-
fort.
One of the first Associations In
Texas, and the first in the Dist-
rict. Comanche Association will be
setting the pace for; the county-
wide meetings. Since It is always
in order to preacp the Gospel,
it is expected that almost every-
one of the churches of Comanche
Association will participate in the
special revival effort, during the
week ,of February 9th to 161#.
