Aunt Lou Ray is reported as
getting along nicely at this time.
F. J. McBride and Bro. J. J.
McBride visited their brother, J.
M. Bledsoe, in Greenville. They
reported his condition becoming
much worse. Mr. Bledsoe was
injured in a car wreck several
weeks ago and for sometime his
condition seemed to be improving
but which has later grown much
worse, and little hope is held for
his recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen McNeal of
Dallas spent last weekend with
their mother, Mrs. Birtie Moore,
and family.
Mrs. Byrdie Bolton of Pans
visited Wednesday with the writ-
er.
John McCombs is reported with
the sick list this veek

Washers At 5 Million
South Bend, Ind.—Exports of
Bcndix automatic washers in 1947
grossed Bendix Home Appliances,
Inc., approximately $5,000,000, it
was announced today by Harlow
K. Lyons, export manager. Ap-
proximately half the shipments
went to Argentina, Mexico and
Canada.
Since February 2,000 washers
have been sold in Belgium, and
the 10 months’ sales in Switzer-
land aggregated 1,000 units. The
Geneva distributor foresees a 50
per cent increase in sales next
year, with renewed availability
of water heaters. Mr. Lyons said.
