land of Loving. Mr*. Lewis
Wheat of Abilene, Mrs. Fannie
Jackson of Longview. Mrs.
Wheat and Mrs. Jackaon are
sisters of Mrs. Drue Wheat.
After dinner the croup sang
old songs which they remember-
ed from childhood and played

A beautiful birthday cake was
divided amqng the five women
whose birthdays the group cele-
brated.
Mrs. Maude Minkley dismiss-
lotions were sent by those un-
able to attend
Guests came from Markley,
Jermyn, Jean, .Henrietta, Fort
Worth, Graham, Archer City,
Arlington, Wichita Falls, Me-
ga r g e 1, Jaeksboro, Lubbock,
Weatherford, Olney, McKinney,
and Waco, as well as many from
the Loving area.
Coming the greatest distance
were Mrs. W. H. Baker and her
son Jim of Lubbock. Mrs. Baker
was s former school teacher of
Mrs. Tedrow.
Mr. and Mrs, Tedrow were
married on May 7, 1914. at the
bride's home north of Loving.
A group picture was made of
the many friends and relatives
attending the wedding, and a
copy of it was on display Sun-
day, bringing happy memories
to several of the guests who
were included in the picture.

Junior Nature Garden Club
closed the club year with an in-
spiritional installation of officers,
tour of beautiful gardens and a
picnic al Firemen's Park.
Miss Christine Joyce, chairman,
who was recently given a special
award for outstanding work with
the Junior Club members, intro-
duced Mrs. Julia Mobley, who in-
stalled the incoming officers.
Mrs. Mobley used a master
candle and flowers in her cere-
money. She gave Kim Kendall,
president, a red rose to symbolize
courage and devotion. Kim was
presented a red candle which she
lighted from the- master enndle.
Kim and the other incoming of-
ficers tool, the pledge to perpe
tuale the ideals that had been
given in the club, that they might
pass them on to those following
in coming years.
Susan Muhlinghause, vice-presi-
dent, was presented a yellow iris

Celebrate Birthdays
Master Daie Carver celebrated
his 9th birthday, April 1, with
a party at his home. 714 Ken-
tucky Street. There was a pret-
ty birthday cake and gifts from
his friends All had a jolly good
