Olney will become the owner of
the old Baldwin farm of 370
acres a mile west of Jean. Mr
Baldwin bought the place In 1006
and improved it through the 40
years he farmed it. He retired
and moved to Jean a y ar ago.

GAME IN VERNON
A large number of people from
Graham attended the football
game in Vernon laat Friday night
between Wichita Falls and the
Vernon Lions.
They saw the two good District
2-AA clubs battle it out in Ver-
non's new stadium and before an
overflowing Homecoming 'jV!d.
Those who went from here were
seeking the answer to the Grdfcam
Coyote game and to see if the
Vemonites did to the Coyotes
what they did to the Steers here 2
weeks ago before our Homecom-
ing crowd that was the largest in
the history of football the past
two decades.
The IFlat Rock Home Demon-
stration Club met in the home of
Mrs. W. H. Ward on November
15. with the home demonstration
a<ent. Miss Lpcile King, present,
who made out a report of the
club covering the year.
The Christinas meeting was dis-
cubit d and every member was
urged to attend, which will be on
Decmbeg 13, in the home of Mrs.
Jim Ramsey.
Miss King gave a demonstra-
tion .on how to make inexpensive
Christmas gifts. The members
then showed some of the things
they had already made.
Refreshment were served to
