Happening In
Comanche Gardens
j ,.'• _ „... ,l . ■
"Money Doe* Orow on Trees"
says the famous electric sign of the
Wolfe Nursery near 8tephenvllle.
but stranger things are happening
In the Comanche gardens this year
according to J. H. Williford who
says, and he has witnesses to prove
it. that while digging his Irian
potatoes recently he found a
cluster of small tomatoes growing
near the top of a potato vine
and when a neighbor seemed to
doubt Mr Williford's eye sight, he I
was Invited by Mr Williford to go
with him In the potato patch
where the discovery of a second
cluster of tomatoes on a healthy
potato vine convinced the Doubt-
lng Thomas.
Further evidence that Mr Wil-
liford was not Just “seeing things”
was revealed last Friday with the
arrival of the Stephenvllle Empire
Tribune which carried a story
about -the potato-tomato off-
spring that had been found In
gardens In that section, "Strange
Things Are Happening In the)
Vegetable World at Stephenvllle”,
the article declared.

It seejns to me that we should
never violate the confidence of
another person and should never
be to sure we are right In ex-
pressing our Judgement on those
who hare been unfortunate In
life.
One of the finest characters I
have ever1 known, heard soma
self appointed critics who had
been a complete flop in all their
undertakings, aaylng some very
cruel things about one of life’#
most unfortunate persons, a few
hours after his death. Said he If
your life were an open betok you
would probably Jump out of the
highest window. The poor fellow
may have come clear this morn-
ing. the critic ceased expressing
their vll# opinion
