■was operating a motor-driven
cement mixer. He came into con-
tact with an electric wire carry-
ing 260 volts.
Helms, with his wife and
three-year-old son were living at
Bluebonnet Acres. He was, mar-
ried to Wilma Dan Ivy of Pecan
Grove during the war days when
he was stationed at Camp Hood.
His home was in North Caro-
lina. The father and mother are
en_ route to Gatesville for the
funeral.
