What the Gospel Does to a Man
Without question there are many things which the pure,
unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ will do “for” a man. It
gives salvation to the lost, hope in the midst of a turbulant
world, and- a#glorious mansion for the faithful children of
God. M,any excellent sermons have been delivered which were
designed to point out and discuss what Christ and his religion
will do for humanity. This is right, and faithful teachers of
the Lord will continue to drive home this truth with force.
In our present study let us observe some things which New
Testament Christianity will do “to” a man. What effect will
the gospel produce on the lives of hose who accept it? Are
there any definite changes in one’s character as a direct re-
sult of adopting Christianity as a rule of life ?
It is interesting to note that the author of Christianity laid
down this rule, “By their fruits ye shalkknown them” (Matt.
7:16). A peach tree might appear to be strong and healthy
but if it fails to produce good fruit it will soon be cast into thp
fire. The Saviour invites men to examine the fruits of Christ-
ianity. I believe that Christianity is a good tree because of
the things it will do “to” a man.
CHURCH OF CHRIST
I suppose most of you have
those chicks up and away from
the brooder by now. And chances
are that you’re just about ready
to switch them from that starter
ration to a growing ration.
When you do, re-
member this: This
next 90 days or so
is a mighty critical
period. It’s going to
control to a tre-
- r 'O ^ “ mendous extent,
just what kind of
layers those pullets
will be. No matter
how good the breeding behind
them, the lack of just one or two
essential elements in their feed
during this development period
can sure cut into the number of
eggs you’ll get later on.
It’s during this growing stage
that all that egg-making machin-
ery has to begin developing.
Those tiny glands have to begin
functioning, and they have to
build frames big enough to keep
that day-in, day-out laying from
becoming too much of a strain.
The bigger the bird—the bigger
the number of eggs she’ll lay!
And with good-quality stock, and
a top-notch feeding program,
she’s going to lay LOTS of those
eggs.
That’s why I can’t overempha-
size the importance of getting
those pullets on SUNGLO All-
them over to SUNGLO All-Mash-
Laying Flakes or Pellets.
Of course, if you’ve got your
own home-grown grains, then,
you’ll want to feed SUNGLO
Growing Flakes or Pellets, and
SUNGLO Laying Flakes or
Pellets. .
By the way, right
now is sure the
time to set up that
worm control pro-
gram. And a sup-
ply of SUNGLO
FLOCK WORMBR
is certainly the fin-
est insurance you
can get along these

lines* You feed it as their com-
plete ration for one day. The
next day they go back on their
regular SUNGLO ration. This
should be set up on a 30-day
schedule to make sure they
aren’t bothered with these worm
infestations anywhere along the
line.
But why not drop by our place
here and let us show you just
what a tremendous difference
there is in this complete line of
SUNGLO Feeds? And while
you’re here, pick up one of these
SUNGLO folders Called “How to
Feed for Top Results.*’ They’re
free, and there’s one for. just
about every type of poultry afta
livestock feeding,
