selected group of men from Pur-
ina feed stores got under way
recently in Austin at the Com-
modore Perry Hotel.
Herbert Zacharias, local feed
salesman, is among those enroll-
ed in the course which will in-
clude four more sessions in ad-
dition to assigned field projects
in this area.
Conducted by the Ralston
Purina Company for the pur-
pose of training these men to
help farmers in their poultry
and livestock operation^* the
council emphasized, in the first
session, the importance of farm
management and the need for
animal and poultry disease con-
trol.
