WORK TO START ON
NEW DAY BUILDING.
Some weeks ago the Leader
reported that W. T. Day had
bought the property between
the First National Bank build-
ing and tin1 Gilmer garage prop-
erty on tin* west side ol the
square and would improve with
three rock business houses.
Jim Robertson, the local con-
tractor has the rock work, and
we understand A. II. Connell has
1 he wood work on the buildings.
Mr. Robertson was expecting to
start his part Monday mottling
but rain was interfering. Mr.
Day says he will build them one
at a time and the building next
to the garage will he completed] .
