industries of tlie country have st» earefully eoasid-
uvtl the by-produets end of their business, until
more profit is made from these by-produets than
from their main ami original operations,
ON EVERY Farm there is a place for some side lint1
that will make extra money, without any outlay in
cash. This county has proven itself admirably
adapted to all kinds of poultry, and especially tur-
keys. W e would like to see more purebred turkeys
raised, but to bejrin with, common stock ami grad-
ually build up to a letter irrado is probably the best,
EVEN IK You raise only a few the first year, you will
tint! a ready market at a fair price, and will realise
a nice additit»n to your income. A ear of turkeys
is worth sevend ’imos as much as a ear of cattle,
and turkeys can bo raised as a by-product with lit-
tle extra expense. Kimble ('ounty oucht to ship
several ears ot turkeys each year. t»ot startihI now
