Nix, Feb. 14.—Rev. Mr. Bar-
ton a Methodist minister of Lo-
meta, preached here Sunday at
3 o’clock. Our Sunday school is
progressing nicely with B. ,G-
Parks superintendent, and W. E.
Layne and Miss G. Cagle teach-
ers. There were some new ad-
ditions Sunday. We extend a
cordial invitation to all to attend
bur Sunday school.
Prof. Roy Stephens who is
teaching the school here, visited
home folk at Lometa Saturday
and Sunday.
There was singing Sunday
night at the hospitable home of
Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Parks. Those
present were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Bearden, Mrs. S. L. Dupree, Mr.
with relatives and friends.
Biff Green and family are vis-
iting relatives at Killeen.
The young people enjoyed a
singing at Ben Rosson’s Sunday
afternoon.
