The new city reservoir project
at I.ake Kanes is now underway
with twenty men at work under
the R. F. C. plan.
S. S. Payne, City Water Super-
intendent is in charge of the j
work and the men are working :
in two day shifts.
Plans call for the completion
of the reservoir within about six
weeks.
The reservoir is bein construct- 1
ed between the new dam and the
original dam and will he used to
store water for use which is .

The plan is expected to save’t
thousands of gallons of water
daily and will almost insure a
sufficient supply of water to j
