Mason County News:
Last Saturday night parties
entered three local stores, ef-
fecting entrance through the
rear.
The business houses entered
were the Sunshine Confection-
ery. the Mason Drug Company
and the Owl Drug Store. Just
what the intruders were after is
not deffinitely known, but is
seems the Mason Drug Compa-
ny was the heaviest losar, as a
large quantity of morphine was
taken. Otherwise nothing has
been missed in any of the three
stores- evcept some cigarettes
and tobacco, which were taken
from the Sunshine. Mr. Hoer-
ster of the Mason Drug Compa-
ny states the amount of mor-
phine taken represents a loss of
about $50 to his firm, and the
report given out at the Owl
Drug Store is to the effect that
nothing has yet been missed,
although indications are the
same party o rparties entering
the other stores were also in
their place of business.
