Everybody Interested
In buying your fall and winter goods. No matter how small or how large your re-
quirements may be we are prepared to fully supply your wants. Our stock is by far the
largest ever parried in Lampasas. We have made valuable purchases for every de~
partment of our mammoth store and we most positively say to you that not. withstand-
ing the high price of cotton we can and will sell you Dry Goods for about last year’s
prices. We have good connections, we go prepared to pay the Spot Cash and get the
best to be had by any concern in the way of values and prices.
Now, we do not simply come to you and ask you for your trade because we are
Stokes Bros. & Company alone, but we feel like our untiring, unceasing efforts for the
past 20 years to always be IN THE MARKET FOR COTTON, WOOL AND PECANS,
and as you all know, we buy everything the farmer has to sell from an egg to a bale of
cotton, these and other reasons, we feel, fully warrant us in asking for consideration at
your hands when you are in the market for anything in our line, and remember if it’s
the proper thing you can depend upon us having it and if a difference in price we
always sell it for less.
