guests at their charming ranch
home.
The guests were escorted into
the large living room which was
attractively decorated in bright
cosmos of Hallowe’en eolor and
wherte tempting sandwiches,
cookies and hot coffee were
served by Mrs. Paterson.
Mrs. Rieck distributed dainty
Hallowe’en tallies, and the inter-
esting game of five hundred be-
gan. After seven games, the
scores were taken by the presi-
dent, Mrs. O. D. Nance. Mrs.
Frank Baker made high score
and was rewarded with a hand
made corsage; Mrs. Prentice,
who made high score among the
guests, received two lovely ging-
ham handkerchiefs; Mrs. Bun-
dy was consoled with a dainty
telephone call book.
A two course luncheon of
fried chicken, potatoes, peas in
patty shells, Irish potatoes,
plum jelly, fruit salad in orange
cups, celery stuffed with cheese
and nuts, bread and butter,
Apricot whip, cake and coffee,
were served.
Cunning little black cats
marked the places for: Mes-

dy, Alex Hamer, Conrad Hole-
kamp, F. llolekamp, Douglas
Motley, Jim Moore, John Mar-
tin, Doug Nance, W. P. Riley,

Friday evening, the ladies of
the High School faculty had a
merry time when they organ-
ized the “I’m Agin it” Club.
Misses Gladys Leslie and Lois
Floyd were the hostesses and
delightfully entertained with a
slumber party. A delicious
plate dinner vVas served to,
Misses Bassie Quisenbery, Lot-
tie Hey man, Mattie Wright,
Nan Swavze, Elsie Mathis anil
Fern Bohannon.

Miss Cecil Martin entertained
her music class and a number of
friends with a picnic Friday ev-
