Sometimes the rich get rich-
er. . .but. .1 .then sometimes
those who are rich certainly
help their home towns.
A good example of this ha[F
pened last week when the Sid
W. Richardson Foundation and
the Amon G Carter Founda-
tion, owners of the Hotel Texas
in Fort Worth, turned over
ownership of the hotel to the
Fort Worth Chamber Devel-
opment Corporation.
The Fort Worth Chamber De-
velopment Corporation is a non
profit enterprise organized by
the Fort Worth Chamber of
Commerce for the development
and growth of the area
It is estimated that the gift
was worth around ten million
dollars.
With Comanche badly need-
ing so many things — a teen-
center. a new library, more ball
parks, more land for industry—
wouldn't it be nice for some
generous soul to get* with it
and leave Comanche something ^
They might even name it after
you! ' -* > .
