the church recreation room
Nov. 9, with these hostesses:

Jackson.
After a delicious supper, the
chairman, Mra. J.P. Goodman,
called the meeting to ordei.
Seventeen members were pre-
sent and one visitor, Mrs. J.E.
Barry. Thirty - threa vis Us to
tha sick war* reported.
The program for tha evening
was a thank offering response
service entitled "Blessed to
Bless." The entire group took
part In this worship service, at
tha conclusion of which aspaclal
thank offering was mads. This
money is used to provide for
special needs of several mission
projects.

Tha bride’s parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Knowles, Clarks-
ville, Route 9, and the groom
is tha son of Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Martin of Clarksville.
The bride, given In marriage
by her father, wore a street-
length dress of antique white
satin brocade, designed on prin-
cess Unas. The bodice, with a
scalloped neckline, had long
sleeves that tapered to petal
points over her hands. Tiny
covered buttons sxtsndsd the
length of the bodice in back.
Tha foil skirt waa accented
with a large bow. Her slippers
were covered with matching
material of satin brocade. Her
waist-length veil of tulle net waa

met In the community center
with a buffet supper. Lawrence
