Danger In Coughs
That Hang-On
Neglected coughs often lead to worse
trouble. Yet tin re is a simple method
bast'd on the fatuous Dr. King's New
Discovery, which u u.illy breaks the
worst cough entirely in 21 hours.
Here is the method: You take just
one teaspoonful and hold it in your
throat for 15 or I’d seconds before swal-
lowing it. It has a double action. It
not only soothes and heals irritation,
but also removes the phlegm and con-
gestion which are the real cause of the
coughing. So the most stubborn cough
won disappear; completely •
Dr. King's New Discovery is for
coughs, chest colds, bronchitis, spas-
modic croup » '. Foie for children,

Probably a good many people
were shocked Sunday, when they
!read the advertisement which ap-
peared in a Kansas City paper,
and which was sent out in Asso-
ciated Press (fispatches, urging
j young people to give atention to
spiritual things.
“Be a sport and give Christ a
chance." "if you’re after big time
stuff, come into the main tent,”
are among the expressions ap-
pearing in the appeal. As a whole
the advertisement lacks dignity,
and it might almost be said to
lack reverence. Probably a lot
of church members will think it
shouldn’t be printed.
The gospels are written in state-
ly language, anti yet vve are told
j that Christ, in His preaching, used
the common, every-day language of
the folks among whom He work-
ed. We know that this method dif-
fered sharply from those of the
clergy of His day. What would
Christ think of such advertisement
