Jessie Flemon Mauldin, 80,
died at his home here Saturday
- morning after being lnrlll health
for some time.
Mr. Mauldin was born Nov. 7,
1882 In Cuthand, Texas.
Funeral services were held
Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock At
the Cuthand Methodist Church
with Rev. Millard Lemond offl-
catlng. Burial was In Cuthand
Cemetery. Jolly Funeral Home,
Clarksville, In charge.
Surviving are his wife; two
sons, Herman Mauldin, Bogata
and Marcell Mauldin of Ama-
rillo; seven daughters, Mrs.
Marvin Patton, and Mrs. Roxle
Aldredge, Bogata, Mrs. Parolle
Hampton, Dallas, Mrs. Reddle
Roberts, -Tulla, Mrs. Minnie
Applegate, Honey Grove, Delena
Irvin, Carlsbad, N. M. and Ada
Phifer, Talco. One. sister, Mrs.

a number of grandchildren.
LOCAL BOY IN GERMANY
Pvt. William Hal Hudson, 23,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Hudson, recently was assigned
to the 69th Artillery Group In
Wurzburg, Germany.
Hudson, )vho was stationed at
Fort Irwin, Calif., is now a
driver In the group’s Headquar-
ters Battery. He entered the
Army In January 1962 and com-
pleted basic training at Fort
Carson, Colo.

Funeral services for Moody
W. Bartlett of Glen Flora, who
died November 12, were con-
ducted Nov. 14 In the North wood
Presbyterian Church, San An-
tonio. Burial was in the Ft. Sam
Houston National Cemetery,
with full military honors.
Bartlett, a retired Army
colonel, age 70, had.lived at
San Antonio 12 years. He was
awarded the Silver C^oss with

Flora; four grand children,
a sister, Mrs. Lawrence P.

Midway Club gave thfe demons-
tration on how to very easily
finish furniture. This was app-
reciated very much. All In all
the ladles from all over the
county spent the day Just learn-
ing how to be of better use In
the neighborhood In which they
live. They all were delighted to
have Mrs. Dorotfiy Hopkths and
her charming daughters to visit
on that day. Mrs. Hopkins was
the former Home demonstra-
tion agent.
The next meeting of the ABC
HD Club will be- on the first
Tuesday in Dec. which will be
Dec. 4th. This meeting will be
a covered dish dinner at Crystal
Lake, each one bringing a
covered d|ph, and a wrapped gift
valued at not less than fifty
cents. The time Is 11:00 a.m.,
no program Is-scheduled, Just
fun, food and fellowship.
