Football Workouts Gwin and Perry Honored
For Conservation Work
Forty-nine prospects turned
out for the first supervised

Parachuters Descended
---- - unexpectedly
Six parachuters, led by Lee
Walker of Clarksville, descend-
ed unexpectedly, landing In the
softball playing field, while the
meal was being served. This
surprise landing had been ar-
ranged by Walker, three Del-
tas and two Houston men, who
came to Clarksville to partici-
pate to the sky diving contests
Saturday afternoon and Sunday,
sponsored by the Jay cess.
This was the first Fair Auc-
tion conducted on a Saturday
evening. This day of the week
was chosen to avoid conflicts
with other local activities.
