ing comity supplies, and rigorous
collection of delinquent taxes, which,
Morris explained, are the foundation
elements In the East Texas Cham-
ber’s program for obtaining better

70-county region which It serves. The
insurance representatives present de-
clared they represented several thou-
sand Texas farms which their com-
panies are operating, with n total
acreage running into the hundreds of
thousand*.

With a program varied enough to
salt all lovers of music, the Eighth
Annual Tri-State Binging Convention
will be held in Bhreveport, Louis-
iana. April 27 and II. A larger at-
tendance la expected this year than
the record breaking attendance last
year. This year’s meeting will fea-
ture a large number of well known
quartets, trios and duets. The con-
vention opens at 1:00 p. m. Saturday,
April 27, in the large Municipal
Auditorium, located at Qrand Avenue
Mr. and Mra. J. C. McMicha I re-
turned Bun-Jay from Texarkana Mr.
McMkhael Is recovering nice!) fol-
